Founded in 1988 in collaboration with the University of Liège, Astel Medica is the Belgian leader in the development and manufacturing of innovative probiotics and OTC products.

The BeLux Sales Manager is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of the sales organization.

The Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the strategies and tactics required to drive sales growth across the product portfolio.

Key responsibilities:

  • Challenge and monitor sales teams through effective performance indicators.
  • Analyze sales data in conjunction with marketing analyses, translating insights into key strategies and tactical action plans.
  • Support the Key Account Manager in negotiations and decision-making processes with customer groups.
  • Ensure accurate annual and quarterly sales forecasting.
  • Set clear objectives and provide effective coaching, performance evaluation, and feedback.
  • Lead, coach, motivate, and develop direct reports (Field Sales Manager, Key Account Manager, and Export Manager), while collaborating closely with the marketing team to ensure a strategic and analytical approach.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
  • Drive the growth of product ranges within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure the continued growth of company revenues among pharmacies, physicians, and healthcare professionals.

Your profile:

  • You have experience managing teams within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • You have several years of experience in a similar position.
  • You possess strong analytical and leadership skills.
  • You are capable of building and maintaining high-performing sales teams with a positive mindset.
  • You are an excellent communicator and negotiator.
  • You are fluent in French and Dutch; English is considered a significant asset.
